Having served as the Chief of Staff for a $1.5 billion USD NBFC, she brings a wealth of strategic experience to her role as Chairman and Managing Director. Her leadership is deeply rooted in an emotion-driven philosophy, where empathy meets determination, enabling her to make decisions that resonate with both people and purpose. Whether it’s fostering client relations, driving business development, managing sponsorships, overseeing content and production, or enhancing brand visibility, she strives to combine creativity with results-driven action.

Raul Handa is not your typical entrepreneur—and he never wanted to be. Born and raised in Kuwait and now based in Dubai, Raul’s leadership journey has been deeply shaped by both Eastern values and Western dynamism. As the Founder & CEO of The Forttuna Group, he leads a fast-growing multi-vertical enterprise with interests across awards, entertainment, AI, mentorship, and digital storytelling.
At the heart of Raul’s career is a simple yet powerful belief: Business is about people.
This people-first philosophy has fueled initiatives like the Forttuna Global Excellence Awards, now recognized across 100+ countries as a beacon of integrity, merit, and impact-driven recognition. From hosting The FFTB Show, a docu-series that features global changemakers, to nurturing next-generation entrepreneurs through Gen-E and the Forttuna Startup Excellence Program, Raul’s work spans sectors but stays rooted in one mission: to empower voices and scale impact.

Most recently, Raul’s leadership has extended into the sphere of international policy and development. In 2025, he was appointed as Advisor – International Cooperation and Outreach to the Permanent Observer of the Pan-African Intergovernmental Agency for Water and Sanitation (WSA) to the United Nations. This appointment reflects not just his growing global influence but also his commitment to tackling critical challenges like water access and sanitation infrastructure across Africa and the Global South.
Currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration, Raul is also working on his debut book, sharing lessons drawn from personal challenges, business pivots, and global travels.
